Well its way past time for an update. And although I should be cleaning or something exciting like that since Landon is sleeping and Dylan is contained in his highchair eating yogurt and watching Calliou I chose to update here!
Lets see! Landon is 4 days shy of 4 months! I'm so sad that he is getting so big. I want him to stay my baby forever but I also love how much he's grown and all the stuff he's doing. I'm not sure on his weight or height right now since its been almost 2 months since our last Dr's appointment. We tried to put him on the scale yesterday and it was right between 14 and 15lbs. I'm sort of surprised its not more but we'll see at his appointmentt on May 4th. He is just starting to get into 6 month clothes. He can still fit into some of the 3-6 months but it depends on the brand and what type of outfit it is.
Landon also had his last (or what we thought was his last!) hip appointment. He had his first set of x-rays! Then we headed over for his appointment. The Dr said his right hip's pelvic head (the bone that fits into the socket) was a little underdeveloped and still needed to be followed so another appointment and set of x-rays were set up for August.
He has been doing so well with sleeping at night. He is almost like clockwork although Dylan was the total opposite. Landon is in bed most nights by 8pm. Starting about 7:30 he starts rubbing his eyes and wants to eat and then he's out like a light! He has been sleeping from 8pm until 6am most days (maybe 75% of the time). The other nights hes still in bed by 8 but wakes up once around 2-3am, eats and goes right back to sleep until 6 or 7am.
During the day he is up and some days will take good naps and other days he just takes little 30 minute naps here and there. He loves to be on the ground either playing under his play mat or laying on his tummy trying to play with his toys. We got out Dylan's Jumperoo last week and Landon loves it! He looks like he's trying to do Riverdance the way his feet kick 90 miles an hour. I have a video and if I can figure out how to post it I will.
Dylan is doing so well! He is a great big brother and is always wanting to hold Landon. He loves to rub his cheeks. Although when Landon starts to cry Dylan yells "MOM!! Feed the baby!!!".
Dylan is going to be starting his first "sports team" in a couple of weeks at the YMCA! He still has to decide between Flag Football or Outdoor Soccer. Then starting in June he can either do Indoor Soccer or T-Ball. He also will be starting preschool soon a few mornings a week. Part of it is to get him out of the house and the other reason is so that he can play with some kids his own age. He's been asking for months now to go to "School" so here's his chance and I hope he does well!
Well My Grandma's surgery went well and she is slowly but surely on the road to recovery. The best news is that the biopsy came back benign so she doesn't have to do the chemo like last time! Thursday is her birthday and we are going to have Chinese food and cake at our house. Just low key but still celebrating.
Ugh I didn't realize this had gotten so long! I better quit for now and Ill put anything I missed in the next time I post!

Dylan has turned into quite the artist! He especially loves to use sidewalk chalk outside. His latest picture was a picture of him and I couldn't believe he had drawn it himself! He is also really into puzzles and has quite a few he can do himself. Finally the weather has warmed up (90's today!!!!!) and we have been trying to get outside a lot. Last week we played with some water balloons and a good time was had by all! Later today I think we are going to go out and play in the hose if I can find some sunscreen.
Dylan had his 3 yr check up last week (only a few months late!). He was 40 inches and 40lbs, I think If I remember right. The doctor says he's right on track! And the Dr also confirmed what we had suspected! Dylan has to have his tonsils and adenoids out. If you have heard him breathe when hes sleeping you know what I'm talking about. He struggles so much with his breathing at night. So we have an appointment with the ENT doctor and will set up the appointment for the surgery. I of course am a wreck since I don't handle anything relating to doctors well and especially anything having to do with my first baby! Although it seems Dylan may have taken after me since he had to have some blood drawn after his appointment, of course I made Brendon take him in, and Brendon said after she was done Dylan told him "Daddy, I think I'm going to throw up!" Which of course is a famous saying from his Mom! When they came out Dylan was just green and clammy and looked terrible. After some BBQ chips and an orange juice he had perked up quite well and we went off to the mall for lunch and to play in the indoor play area.
